As a nationally recognized expert in the field of individual and couples therapy who trained at Psychological Services of Beverly Hills, Dr. Walton has been featured and quoted on numerous national television and radio programs. In addition, Dr. Walton is widely published and is the producer of the popular Dr. Walton Series. He has been so well respected that he was given his own radio show on KCSN 88.5 FM and now hosts for WebiHealth.com's video library and has given advice interviews to Cosmopolitan Magazine among many others.

In his private practice in Los Angeles, Dr. James E. Walton draws upon over 25 years' experience in treating individuals, couples and families using both Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnosis.

He holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as, an MBA in International Management.

He's a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a professional member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. He completed his internship for licensure at Psychological Services of Beverly Hills. He is also certified in Clinical Hypnosis.

In the late 90's Dr. Walton was an Institutional Review Board Member for the National Institutes of Health. His team was responsible for ensuring and protecting the rights and welfare of human subjects who participate in biomedical research sponsored by drug companies by reviewing clinical research protocols and related materials (informed consents, promotion, etc.) and performing continuing review as the research progress.

In the late 1980s, Dr.Walton joined Shirley MacLaine's staff in Beverly Hills helping to organize her national Higher-Self Seminar Tour promoting meditation and self-awareness.

Dr. Walton holds a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and is a licensed Family Therapist, as well as a certified trained specialist in Clinical Hypnosis and Life Coaching.
